Making the Super Mario star earrings is as challenging as beating all 32 levels:

- Gluing and Pressing: To ensure the pieces are firmly secured, I glue them twice and let them sit overnight in the press.
- Sanding: My fingers suffer during this step, but it’s more important that the star feels smooth to the touch.
- Organic Finish: I protect the wood with natural oil that enhances its color and grain.
- Stainless Steel Backing: So the only reaction you’ll see is, “Wow, what cool earrings!”
