How I Make the Necklace

I begin by choosing the wood you’ve selected. Each one has its own personality. Sycamore has a light, soft tone; it’s timeless. Boxwood has a creamy, almost golden tone. Cedar has a more intense, reddish color with beautiful grain.

I prepare each wood disc by hand. I cut it with my manual accordion saw and sand it until it’s smooth and soft to the touch. Then, I engrave the name or word you choose onto your wood.

Once engraved, I protect the wood with natural oil. This enhances the grain and color, giving it a warm, silky sheen. Next, I set the wood disc in a round stainless steel base and combine it with a matching chain. The result is a necklace full of meaning and sentiment.
